Personal Narrative: The Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament

It was the Cal Ripken baseball tournament. We made the long ride to Indiana when we arrived it was really warm. I was pretty nervous about playing but I was also excited to get on the field. The next morning I was getting ready to go and I had a bad feeling that something was going to go wrong. The first game we played the crush they were really good, we took the field first and It was a 1,2,3 inning. This is when it took a turn for the worst.
My first at bat of the tournament the first two pitches were balls. The third pitch was a curveball I thought that It would break so I was waiting but it never did and I watched it all the way to my face.
