No one knows what I went through because you were not in my shoes...I remember the day that Hurricane destroyed our island. I remember it like it happened yesterday. It all started on September 16, 2017 at 6:00 am when I was on my way to school. I turned on my phone and I eventually saw that in Instagram this news reporter from Telemundo was saying that an Hurricane was going to hit our island.The news reporter also said that this Hurricane was named Maria and it was going to be category 5 which it actually means that it is going to be a strong storm. That same day when I came to my home from school I helped my father put up the shutters all over my house.
