Personal Narrative: The Four Seasons Restaurant

for today, especially the chef’s taste. Just reading the menu makes me salivate. They use a fine customized-design paper to input the dishes’ names. Not to mention the prices, I glance at the menu for a second and notice that they are kind of outrageous. A small sized dish of Caesar salad, for example, costs $25, while I can get that only $6 at McDonald’s. I know I should not make that comparison here since I am sitting at a high-class restaurant.
“The server will be here with you shortly.” Smiles, the hostess then asks me, “Would you like me to get you something to drink?”
“May I have a glass of water, please?” I respond.
“Sure. May I ask if you would like to have hot or iced water?” She politely asks.
“With ice, please.”
“Very good. I will be coming back with a glass of water momently.” Friendly smiles at me again, she then leaves but seems to be happy with what I ask her for.
I look around and quickly note how wonderful the restaurant is. Most likely the guests who come here are rich people as I figure. One thing I forget to do before coming to the Four Seasons Hotel for my lunch is to check out Yelp and get a sense of what the level of attire for this joint. I am wearing jeans and

I know he has been busy to say the least since it is lunchtime and all the servers must be coming for table to table. At the same time, the hostess comes back with a glass of water and nicely put it on the table for me. She then leaves with a smile again.
