The Goalkeeper Playing soccer has always been something that I find happiness in and something I can do to put my mind at ease. I have played it since I was 5 years old and my parents never expected me to stick with it. They always knew I was a basketball player and that soccer was just a phase. Until one day I started as a goalkeeper. I was 10 years old and I threw a fit, all I wanted to do is score goals. So, after a while and a lot convincing, I took some keeper lessons and that’s when I fell in love. Being a goalkeeper is a difficult position and they say that goalkeepers have to be a little bit messed up in the head for throwing their body in front of a moving ball. This is what kept me sane though. Through all of this I was still
