Personal Narrative: The Kentucky Football Derby

one trip I've been one is to Kentucky, for the Kentucky football Derby, and to visit our cousins. We didn't get to go to the Derby, only the parents, but we were fine with it because we don't get to see our cousins much. So it was very exciting to be able to see them again. We left school a little early on Friday. Even thought it was an 8 hour drive I couldn't wait to get there. We started the drive, and to pass a little time I fell asleep, on and off, most of the ride. About half way there we stopped to stretch out and take a break. Then we got back on the road for another 4 hours. I was awake when we got to Kentucky, and it was very cool coming in to see the whole city. Then we pulled into the driveway, I was very excited to see them, but when we got there they were still at school. So we waited, but luckily they had a basketball hoop, so me and my brother just played a game until they came. When they finally came everyone one was excited because we haven't seen them in about a year. They play football, and lacrosse, which I never played so I thought it was interesting. The rest of that day we just played basketball on there hoop. We also played NBA 2k 15. We woke up early the next day, and played NBA and NCAA, before we did anything. For the rest of the day we just sat around and watched Cutthroat Kitchen, and played a little NCAA and NBA. The we started watching the derby, and we picked a horse we though would win. Then it started and it is always very exciting, even though it's just a 2 minute horse race. That was the horse that won the Triple crown. We talked about the rave for a little bit then started watching TV again. When our parents got home they said they really didn't have good seats and could just see it on the tv there but that it was still real cool being
