It starts when the first world war has started, I didn't know how this dreadful war was going to change my entire life. Of course, I didn't know any better, I was just a sixteen-year-old boy living in Germany with my father who was a german soldier so he wasn't home or with me for a while. But my father did sends letters every week until the letters stop arriving this whole month and I was extremely worried, concerned my mind was going crazy thinking the things that could have happen to him until the beginning of the this month a soldier knock on my door and told me the news of father that he was captured and at that moment I felt contempt and that everything was going that i care about was going to be destroyed. But were here in Russia and no one grew suspicious of us but suddenly we came to certain place and heard riots and people were angry and frustrated and were protesting about the lack of bread and getting russia involved in the war. A few mins later gunshots went off, many of the russians were killed and wounded by soldiers as the Russian Revolution has started in Russia. Hans told me we need to be far way of their fight or else we will be killed or discovered by the russians. We stayed in a house where germans lived here to spy on the Russian and they gave Hans information of where my father was last located at and that was in the Czar Nicholas II home. The german spy were able to sneak us in czar home and we pretend to be guards and we went down the stairs and found jails and look around and there was a man on the ground hurt. I ran up to the jail cell and the man was dead i couldn't see his face, his face was forward on the ground but he had the same watch my father has and tears ran down my face and the devastation i felt knowing that man could be my father.
