Personal Narrative: The Six Flags Ride

It was Wednesday morning, and my friends and I were traveling to Six Flags Great Adventure for the day. I have never been as eggcited because I have not been there in a while. I was going with my friends Tj, Nick, and Mike. I am usually not afraid of rollercoasters, but Six Flags is the home to one of the tallest and fastest rollercoasters in the world: Kingda Ka. Kingda Ka is 456 feet high, and reaches an astonishing 128 mph in three seconds. Not only was I scared, but my friends were as well. We knew that riding Kingda Ka would be a huge part of the Six Flags experience because Six Flags is known for that ride. So, we decided that we would ride it. We had to wait a two hours just to ride a ride that lasts about twenty seconds. I hoped this ride will live up to its eggpectations. It was finally time to board the ride, and Nick and I got in the carts. We securely fastened our seatbelts, and pulled the lap bars over our head. We then sat out in the open waiting for them to shoot us out. Sitting there, I was as nervous as a junior taking the SATs for the first time. Then, they shot us. I could not feel anything, but the wind smashing against my face. We were going so fast, I felt like a bullet being shot out of a gun! We then reached the peak of the ride, and slowly went back down again. Once we were at a stop, I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my blood. As much as that ride scared me, it equally provided me with eggcitement and joy. Kingda Ka had to of been one of the most lively and fun experiences of my life. I was relieved to finally get the ride out of the way, and proud that I made the decision of riding it. We then left the ride, and got on with our day.
