Is Golf A Sport

The best day of my life was when I came in first and beat out the top girls. I went home smiling and happy. I won a blue ribbon and got the title of top girl. My coach was so proud of me because he never thought that I could do it, and neither did I. When I told him after we added up my score he was so happy. Not everyone plays this sport and can win because in this sport one needs to have balance and enough strength to move one’s body with the club and hit the ball far enough and hard enough. When I started playing golf, it was because my mom forced me to, but as I started playing more and more and started competing in tournaments, it became really fun and stress relieving. The object of the game is to get a lower score than the person you are playing against. You are striving to be a score lower than the person you are playing with and trying to beat your last score according to Neil Tappin. The lower the score the better. You want to get the lower to win the higher the score the worst it is to win. When I first started playing this sport I was really scared to even tell them my score because I knew I wouldn’t be as good as the person I was playing against. But as time went on I started to get more into the sport and wanted to win more and more. I didn’t care about the person I was playing against I focused on competing and winning.
