Yellow Jacket Attack

Little did I know I would never forget this day. We were supposed to go rock climbing during camp today. As the camp counselors were driving us to the stop I was talking to my friends about how awesome this day was going to be. We had finally made it to the site and all the kids were as excited as I was. The counselors told us to go do something while they would pull out the harnesses. There was a bunch of rocks we could jump on so I decided to do that.

After that, my friends and I all grabbed markers out of the van and we had a competition where we would jump on a rock put a marker on it and whoever had the most rocks win. Once we started the game we were all having fun until the counselors told us to stop and put on

I froze up for a second then ran. I had run over to the sidewalk and sat down to get away. But the yellow jackets had followed me and continued to sting me. After getting 11 bee stings I had given up on trying to get away from the bees so I had sat down. But no more Yellow Jackets had followed me. I had then sat down and tried taking the stingers out of my leg. The counselors had asked me if I was allergic to bees. “I have never been stung by once so I don't know”, I replied. I was pretty sure I wasn't allergic since no one in my family was allergic but there was still a chance.

I was still in very much pain so I asked if we had a first aid kit, they had said it was right next to the bee hive. I was super mad because I couldn't pull out the stingers out of me and they hurt super badly. Eventually, the bees swarmed away and the counselors grabbed the first aid kit. I called my dad and asked him to pick me up but he would take 30 minutes. So I had to take a hike with the pain in my legs to the rock climbing spot. Once my dad said he was close I had to climb back over the rocks to the parking lot. My dad then drove me home so I could rest and un dramatize the
