One line that stood out to me was 25-26 “Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.” (Poe, 25-26) I can connect to this line because sometimes at night while I'm trying to fall asleep I would dream about owning a dance studio and what it would look like. Then I would ask myself some harder questions and think about what happens if It fails or I fail. I might also reflect on a scary event and thinking what would of happen If I did it differently. This line could appeal to any dark time in history. WWII and the Great depression, people dreaming about a better life but they are stuck in a black whole.
