I remember when I lived in the outback. It was just my father and I, there was no one else to play and do the things that most children do, but the animals. It was always so hot and sticky every day and tending to the animals wasn’t the best thing to be stuck doing. Being all alone on that barren and deserted place. It made me feel sick in the stomach. Waking up early every morning, starting my routine. Feed the animals, water the plants and fetch the eggs from the chicken coop. When that was all done I'd go and warm myself up last night's dinner and sit by myself in the dining room, wondering why I could never go and explore the city or do anything fun. But all dad said was the outback is the place to be. I stayed and worked despite my
