In 2008 the Lord brought me to WholeLife Community Church (WLCC). Little did I know that I was in for the journey of my life! Earlier that year my son had thrown away two large garbage bags of shoes and boots. Some of which still had tags on them, nevertheless they were gone. I remember searching out the name of the garbage company’s name. Only to finally surrender to what I now know what was the beginning of my calling of Evangelism. Soon thereafter I heard the Lord say that I would go from Stiletto’s to Sandals! I thought He had to be either joking or this was trick my mind was playing with me. Approximately two months later, I got called for a meeting with the Pastor and First Lady. Little did I know my life would never be the same? During that meeting I shared where I was, what I was doing that I felt was good and the truth about the not so good. They embraced me, laughed a little, prayed for me and then asked me was I ready to serve? Reluctuctantly I said “Yes if you think I’m ready and if you want me to?” Pastor asked me to put together what I see as a vision that I believe would match up with what he and the First Lady was looking for in outreach. Later that month I submitted what God had given me. The Pastor said “This is exactly what First Lady and I have discussed as part of the vision for the church to move forward, let’s do it! Since that day we have gone forth with sharing ideas, strategies and support mechanisms that would birth the Outreach Ministry and bring people through the doors of WholeLife. Eventually God sent help and we solicited members because we knew this was a major piece and we needed not just a team but a team of truly committed servants. The dream and vision for WLCC would outlast our
