Approximately two months later, I got called for a meeting with the Pastor and First Lady. Little did I know my life would never be the same? During that meeting I shared where I was, what I was doing that I felt was good and the truth about the not so good. They embraced me, laughed a little, prayed for me and then asked me was I ready to serve? Reluctuctantly I said “Yes if you think I’m ready and if you want me to?” Pastor asked me to put together what I see as a vision that I believe would match up with what he and the First Lady was looking for in outreach. Later that month I submitted what God had given me. The Pastor said “This is exactly what First Lady and I have discussed as part of the vision for the church to move forward, let’s do it! Since that day we have gone forth with sharing ideas, strategies and support mechanisms that would birth the Outreach Ministry and bring people through the doors of WholeLife. Eventually God sent help and we solicited members because we knew this was a major piece and we needed not just a team but a team of truly committed servants. The dream and vision for WLCC would outlast our
