Why I am committed to helping women: when I was two years old, my parents rented a bedroom in a house. My parents had two children (now four): I am the oldest. My mom was responsible of taking care of and raising us while my father worked. One night, my mom’s biggest fear almost became a reality. That night, my parents went to sleep like normal. My mom has always had a hard time falling asleep. She noticed that my dad was having a heart attack. As a result, my father was rushed to the emergency room. He is alive today thanks to everyone, who helped my mommy. When I got older, my mama told me the story of that night multiple times. My mother believes that she would be lost without my father.
