Why do I want to become a Medical Assistant? Medical Assistant always has been something I can do very well in. I really want to work with the pediatrics just because I love kids and taking care of them when needed. Through the years at Preston High I have taken all the nursing class. Currently, I am in CNA and EKG phlebotomy. This career interests me by helping others in need. If I help a person in need then it makes me feel better about myself. Medical Assistants usually complete many different kinds of tasks such as measuring a patient’s blood pressure, temperature and pulse. They record patient history and personal information. Medical Assistants measure vital signs, prepare blood for laboratory test and schedule patient’s appointments
