They are brutally abused, being tortured until they are worthless and no longer useful. There are being used for human treatment, most procedures that animals are used for have nothing to do with animals.They are being cut open and putting technology into the animals decreasing the lifespan of that animal. Animals should not be used to study medical research because it can cause or create infections in the animals, the brutal things they are used to be tested on, and deaths relating to animals used for medical research is increasing every year.
One reason animals should not be used for animal testing is the medicine that they are giving can create an infection inside the animal which could be harmful to that animal. Well infections such as cancer, infectious diseases that cause pain, illness, distress, and even death. Most of these infections are deadly and most animals tested on don’t make it out alive, know that they don’t have a life in the wilderness anymore. Most people haven’t tried to treat the cure or disease because once they get that infection or disease the animals are seen as unuseful so they are killed. Most animals that are tested on end up being killed by the scientist at the end or they die from the infections. …show more content…
