I am writing this in hopes that I might persuade you, into taking a closer look into my grades for this final semester, and have you give me chance to earn those 10 points for the final exam. I strongly believe that I should earn those 10 points on my final exam, and not because i'm desperate, or because i’m a bad student that doesn't do their work, and is always asking for help at the last minute, but because ive earned it.

I have realized, that in some cases kids go to their teachers at the last minute, and expect their teachers to bump their grade up to what they need. In this case that is not necessarily me, i ask what it is i needed in order to raise my grade before the last minute. I have put more effort into this class, then i have in any other class to be quite honest. However I do tend to be quite …show more content…
because half the time, kids really aren’t as focused on their work, nor do they portray their efforts, and just go about wasting time. Not many kids realize that, we as the students shouldn't be asking the teacher what they could do for us, but instead it should be what WE can do for them.
