Persuasive Essay On Chemotherapy

It all started on a stormy day in Chicago when I was getting yelled at by my teenage daughter because I’m apparently the worst mom in the world, well that’s what she said. I decided I needed some mother daughter time so we’re heading on North Michigan Ave toward to Water Tower Place to do some shopping because Jordyn “needs” some new clothes but she can clothe a village with as many as I buy her. All of a sudden the car in front of me starts slipping and sliding all over the place, with no place to go and no time to stop, my car hits the other car and flips. Dizzy, confused and no sign of my daughter anywhere, I began to freak out. I woke up in a uncomfortable hospital bed next to my daughter, Jordyn, who has severe wounds and hasn’t woken up since the accident that has scared me.

With the amount of chemo that has been injected into Jordyns body, it will cause her to lose her hair and may have a higher risk of the cancer recurring. Unfortunately, it is the only way that we would even have a chance to make the tumor smaller to be able to surgically remove it.” said Dr. Shepherd.

“Wait you said that the chemotherapy that we already did would make the tumor shrink, so we could remove it now? Jordyn is not going to go through a bunch of pain when it’s not even working. Is there any other way to make this tumor shirk that won’t put my daughter in so much pain.” I said worriedly and wondering if Jordyn would ever be okay.
