Dirt track racing is a type of auto racing performed on clay or dirt surfaced oval tracks. Dirt track racing has always been known as a male-dominant sport. It is a dangerous sport and it does involve speed and adrenaline. I have been around dirt track racing since I was born and would not change it for anything. I have three generations in my family racing, my 15 year old brother being the youngest. Many people do not expect women to be so into this kind of sport, but you would be surprised. Although women can be a part of this sport, it is not always the smartest decision because it takes a lot of time and commitment, the inequality of men and women, and women are supposed to be the supporters.

Men look forward to being able to take pictures with these women after the races. These half-naked women motivate the guys to do their best. Also, mothers, girl friends, and wives are always good to have there to deal with the tear-offs on the helmets and get your gear together and organized. Men are there to do all of the hard and dirty work and are normally the bigger part of the household income, while women are supposed to be cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the kids.
Men and women have never been equal, even to this day they are not. Women are always found to be the weaker ones and not able to do what men can do. When it comes to household income, men were always the one that were dependent on bringing in money for the family. Men also got paid more than women. Dirt track racing has been around for many years. It is, not only, a hobby for some people, but it is a lifestyle. Women are a big part of dirt track racing and sometimes the most important to have around but they do not belong behind the wheel. As many men will state, “women cannot drive”. Women can be there for their racers in other
