This years presidential election has been the most criticized and hated in recent history. Polls show that more than half of the electorate sees either candidate as untrustworthy. Both candidates have a voluminous amount of flaws and both sides love screaming at the other only about those flaws. Taking an unbiased look at this is often difficult as most news organizations are inherently biased. But amidst all the criticism, nobody tends to look at the actual policies of either candidate, and nobody tends to see their redeeming qualities either. So today I will be looking at the superior choice for America, on policy, character, and morality Hillary Clinton.
So let's look at Hillarys federal income tax plan. Its relatively simple, Hillary wants to keep everything the same, except add an additional tax bracket for those who make over $5,000,000. This will generate more income for the government while actually lowering taxes on the lower income households. According to the Tax Policy Center website, Hillary's plan will generate about 498 billion dollars over the next decade. Hillary will also create an “exit tax” for companies planning on leaving the United states, thus creating more sustainable well paying jobs.

Oil companies are some of the largest, most profitable organisations in the world. While being a source of great revenue, they also harm the environment, pollute our skies, and mine the earth dry in search of oil. The government currently subsidizes these companies, helping them produce more energy from coal. These companies should be halted or at least penalized for using environmentally hazardous materials or techniques to mine the Earth. Hillary would help stop the dangerous and frankly immoral ways of obtaining energy.
