All I can hear is the heavy pants of my surrounding teammates as we are being stared down by the opposing team who is looking at us like a bunch of hungry, feral wolves. My team and I are not intimidated, but we know we are in for a fight. A great activity offered to me by my school is lacrosse. First, the greatness of lacrosse is the competition. Second, lacrosse is a great stress and anger reliever. Last, lacrosse is a game that I can play and enjoy as a hobby. As can be seen, lacrosse is a great activity that my school has to offer. First of all, lacrosse is great for competition for any competitive person. When playing lacrosse, I get to experience the thrill and the adrenaline that comes with the competition. When playing, all I can feel is the adrenaline pounding in my blood quickening my pulse and heart rate. With competition, comes seeing how far my team can go in this season. I enjoy seeing how far my team can go because it shows how much we have improved over the year. Competition also motivates my team to work harder in both the game and in school. After playing lacrosse, my mind is, usually, a stress free zone. Lacrosse especially helps me with stress when the school year rolls around. Lacrosse also helps me calm down when I am angry or agitated. When playing lacrosse when I am angry, I usually take all of my anger out by throwing the ball really hard into the goal. Lacrosse also helps me not go home in an awful, foul mood. When I go home in a foul mood I usually get in trouble, but when I go home after playing lacrosse I usually do not get into trouble.
