Marijuana is a drug that has been around for many years. People are asking if it should become a medical option, even though millions have been affected by drugs and not everyone know what comes with using drugs. Marijuana does help with some diseases; however, it will be so many people using it that don't need it, than people that do need it. Marijuana shouldn’t be a medical option because it has very serious side effects, it also helps teens start using other drugs, and people who don't need it for medicine will have easier access.

Marijuana is a drug and teens that uses this drugs tends to move on and use other drugs. Just because it’s a medicine for some people, others think it's okay for them to smoke it too. What the people don't know is that the drug increases aggression, anger, irritability, and other things. Teens that use marijuana are also more likely to use cocaine and heroin. According to PRNewswire, “a new federal report released today concludes the younger children are when they first use marijuana, the more likely they are to use cocaine and heroin and become dependent on drugs as adults”. By marijuana becoming a medicine it gives teens easier ways to access it. I don't think marijuana should become a medicine.
