Legalizing marijuana will save a lot of unnecessary time, energy, and money. It has been an ongoing topic for years now and it appears that it will soon be something up and coming in society. Colorado has already taken steps toward this by legalizing marijuana with some restrictions. The country itself can benefit from the legalization of marijuana, creating revenue and jobs for the citizens. It can also be used for medical purposes as well. The first actual effect of legalizing marijuana is that revenue can be created for states. Legalizing marijuana can generate $8.7 billion in federal and state tax revenue annually.
