Marijuana should not be legalized due to the fact that it has a potential to harm an individual, it is not safe to self and others and it is highly addictive over the years. Marijuana shows the potential to harm an individual in many forms such as causing health problems, mental illness as well as harmful for child development. In the case of marijuana being legalized research demonstrates that it will be a danger for parents who are caregivers as well as society will be in danger.
