The definition of abortion is the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. Abortion is a contentious subject in today’s society. There are those who feel that to abort a fetus is tantamount to murder, while others don’t feel that way until baby is born. Some feel that all women should have the right to choose. Whatever they believe, it’s evident that the issues involved are often complex, and perhaps those not directly involved in an individual case have little right to judge or comment. There is a heartbeat, face, fingers, and toes. How is that not a life? We don’t understand how someone could end such a huge part of themselves.
While we are extremely Pro-Life, we also believe in basic human rights. Every individual should be allowed to make their own decision, as is the current law. We do not think hospitals, companies or insurances should have the right to limit an individual’s choices.
Every child is a precious and unique gift from God. We have no right to destroy the defenseless babies need protection since it cannot stand up for its self. Some people have abortions because their child will have physical or learning disabilities but these kids can lead a full and rewarding life. Just because a child is going to have problems doesn’t mean you need to abort them, they might be able to fight through and live an amazing life. Why should you be the one to decide if they can make it or not because they are inside of you? You knew they risk while you were having sex.
