How would society react to own a self driving car? The technology of the future could be now! Can people imagine themselves not driving a car? Statistics show that people who own a self-driving car are more than likely not to get in an accident. No more worrying about reckless people not paying attention to the road. The person can sit back and do what they need to do without driving and worrying about other people. “Most important of all, the driverless car will drastically reduce the carnage of road accidents and the colossal; medical cost associated with them” (economist.com). The cars follow the markings in the roads and map out the area of their destination. It can also navigate through traffic. It reads and picks up signs on it’s destination.
