Teachers may think that the school board gives students to much break time during summer but there are several reason why this is untrue. Making breaks shorter and just having a lot is not going to help any student only because students look forward to summer break to go out and have fun and get summer jobs but if the school board takes that away all it does is take away the students motivation to get through the year. If teachers are really worried about the student's education then there are several things they can to keep the student learning during summer break. Taking away summer break from students is to much and should be re thought by anyone who brought up the idea.

Summer is more than just a time for kids to go hang out with friends and go on family vacations. A lot of students especially if they want there own things they will go out and get summer jobs which does more than give them a paycheck every other week, it gives the motivation to work more and it also teaches them what it is like to work for your own things and how life is going to be when you get out of high school. If you take away a student's summer break there will definitely be more dropouts and less obedient students. If anything summer break should be longer than it is now. …show more content…
