It always feels good to volunteer in your person,al time. Taking the time to help others, putting time and effort for a great cause is amazing. We are always busy worrying about ourselves that we forget that their is people who are going through tough times. That is why we should take more time to volunteer. Volunteering for a great cause should be something people enjoy doing. Raising money for people with cancer is a great way to begin. I like the fact that schools encourage students to volunteer for great causes. It looks good on a resume also, and when you go to college. You even spend time with people you know throughout this awesome experience. Volunteering can benefit us and other familes. That is why volunteering for Relay for Life should be somthing encouraging and enlightning.

Relay for Life is also known as the American Cancer Society. This society raises money which goes towards cancer research. The American Cancer is a big deal in America. The treatment's for cancer tend to be very expensive. This corporation helps pay for their patients treatment. The treament includes chemo therapy, dialysis and radiation expenses.

It was called Relay for Life. The first step is to make a team of ten people. One out of the ten has to be at least twenty one years old. Each team is required to come up with a minimum of one thousand dollars the more the better. The next requirement is to attend the all night walk with your group. You are allowed to bring food, drinks, tents blankets, pillows and chairs for the whole night. Anything that you would possibly need for the night. You are not allowed to leave unless it is an emergency. Each team has to have at least one team member walking the track at all times. The team may take turns on who walks the track. The last rule is that you are not allowed to leave until the closing ceremony has ended. It usually ends the next day at six
