We all have our favorite type of dog right, well mine is any kind out Pit bull there is. Sadly, Pit bulls are one of the most frowned upon dog to own in city limits. Pit bulls are the most feared and irrationally loathed and legislated dogs in the world. Some city’s will make you pay a fine every year for having a dog in city limits. Other towns may not even let you have a Pit in their town, it all depends where you live. Pit bulls are not as bad, and devious as people make them out to be, and I’d like to see less strict laws on owning a Pit bull. The most controversial pit bull ban in the U.S. was pushed forward by the City and County of Denver in 1989. Over the course of 25 years, the ban has withstood numerous battles in state and federal courts. The history of the ban, and Denver's consistent victories, has helped many cities adopt similar laws. Dogs are like children they act accordingly to how you raise them. If a child is raised around racism and hate, that’s all they will know growing up. Same with puppies, because most Pit bulls are raised for dog fighting its heartbreaking that these dogs have a bad reputation.
