Although Nfl players get paid millions they work their whole lives to make it big.The average player in the NFL can make about 1.9 million dollars a year. The NFL has lowest paid athletes among all professional sports around the country. NFL players should not get a pay cut because they work their whole lives to play on an NFL team, players earn money through endorsement deals, and they entertain millions of people every day.
NFL players may make money while sitting on the sideline however, it takes their whole life to get signed by a team. According to ESPN.com, “Over 1.23 million 6-10 year olds play a year over the whole entire nation”. This shows that 1.23 million kids under 10 years old start playing football with a long term goal of playing in the NFL. Even if some of those kids want to play for fun, who wouldn’t want to make it to the NFL, if they were good at it

Statista.com shows that “on average that 21.5 million people watch one game every week, while there are still other games going on”. I think for 1 game that is a whole lot of people considering the fact there is at least 3 other games going on the same exact time. When people attend games they spend their money and then all of their money goes to the team and their players. Gallupnews.com states that, “American football, under attack from critics in recent years, has lost some of its popularity but is still the champion of U.S. spectator sports -- picked by 37% of U.S. adults as their favorite sport to watch”. The NFL is the most watched sport in America but has the least payed amount of athletes, so the other sports are the ones that need to cut down on money or the NFL needs to match them.
