The theme of good vs evil could be found in many different works. In these books the main characters share many similarities between the good archetype. In Matilda, Peter Pan, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, are shown to have acted morally, whole heartedly and heroically. Matilda only wanted to help her friends and teachers with love and intelligence, proving that she could overcome the evil and show the world her good. She was the main example of the book which is very similar to the main character of another book, Peter Pan. He was ready to save them, even if it meant death to himself, proving just how heroic and good he was.
