Some animals are more equal than other animals

In the article, "All Animals Are Equal," Peter Singer said, speciesism is wrong as racism and sexism. Because the difference between animals and humans is humans have rationality, but animals not, rationality is only a characteristic which humans have. If only the basis of this characteristic, treat and consider differently between human and animal, it just like sexism and racism, treat and consider women and people of color differently based on the characteristics which are skin color and sex (Singer). However, I do not agree with him. I believe that human beings are selfish, only in the case of two "teams" are evenly matched, peaceful coexistence could happen, for a win-win situation, to avoid lose-lose. When there has a significant disparity in the strength, we can only find conquered and surrendered.

There are two special cases. First, humans should protect wild animals. Wild animals affect the ecological environment, and human development and reproduction cannot be separated from a good ecological environment. Protection of wild animals is to protect the natural environment and to sustainable development. Second, human beings should prohibit the cruelty of animals. To educate children to love animals, can make them understand and express caring and loving to other. Assuming teaching children that animals can be abused, the children are likely to learn cruel and violent. Then, after they grow up, it is possible to apply these bad behaviors to other human beings. So, prohibit the cruelty of animals, in essence, not to protect animals, but to protect humans from being hurt by someone who is psychological
