In truth, there are many people who are leaders that I would write about. But someone who I think is worth being written, is Phoebe Hessel. Hessel was a foot soldier in the American Revolutionary war. She dressed as a man to fight next to her lover and later husband. But For her, it was just another day of work. That is why I chose her. She didn’t listen to people who who told her she couldn’t do something. Hessel joined the war because she wasn’t ok with sitting around while her boyfriend fought for his life.
