Graphing Your Motion

1. The difference between the two lines is that the second one is steeper. The second one is steeper than the first because in the first graph the object is moving slowly and in the second one the object is moving faster.
2. If you walked toward the motion detector instead the slope of the graph would go the opposite direction. Instead of the slope being positive it would be negative.
3. To match the graph the object would have to have started of slow and get faster towards the end.
4.

5. The difference between the two graphs is that the first one isn’t steep and the second one is steep. The line where you go slowly, the line doesn't really get steep. The line where you go faster the line is steep.
6. Velocity is the rate at which an object changes its position.
7. To match the graph the object had to stay in its position for 1 second and instantly had to start walking slowly with a constant acceleration.
8.

9. The acceleration vs. time graph differs from the other two is that it’s the only graph that goes in the negatives. I guess when the object stopped it was suppose to be on the 0 line.
10. The acceleration part of the velocity vs. time graph is when the object doesn't move the line will stay constant on the 0 line. When the object moves to the 3 meter mark the acceleration is pretty constant.
11. In the acceleration part of the
