When they didn't know how to start afire piggy let them use his glasses to light the fire. He is able to find things and tell you there uses. Although he is very resourceful piggy is a very mature boy. Third piggy is very mature for his age so he is able to think about the good and the bad. Piggy is mature enough to be the leader of the boys. But all the other boys are to immature to know that piggy is more qualified to be there leader.
