Finally, basketball has started. I have been waiting a pretty long while for this to come. Basketball is my favorite sport out of all of them. The games haven't started yet but I am very excited for the first game. Our first game is the day after thanksgiving. That is also our first tournament for the Freshman. It is in Taylorville and It's pretty explicit that everyone is ready for our first game. There are some tough teams that are going to be in that tournament like Lanphier, Taylorville, and Lincoln. All three of those teams are either athletic or(100) good shooters. Lanphier is one of the most athletic basketball teams. We played Taylorville multiple times and we have been close but never beat them. Taylorville is probably one of the best or the best shooting teams in the league. …show more content…
I think our team can shoot pretty good too. We are also athletic maybe not as athletic as Lanphier but we still are. Honestly I think the Freshman team will be pretty good and we also have a deep team which is(200) good. Beating all the Springfield teams might be tough. I know most of the guys that play on all the Springfield teams because I play on a team with a lot of them on that team and we travel all around the state and sometimes out of the state which can be awesome. There are a 6'3 and 6'4 guy on that team and they are both really good. They don't both go to the same school which is good but they are good players and they can dunk. Rochester's team doesn't have very many tall people but we do have(300) some quick people that are strong and good at defense. We have 3 or 4 good shooters and most of the team can dribble the ball since we aren't very big and almost everyone can be a guard. I will most likely have to play a big since I'm the tallest guy on the team compared to my other team where I usually play
