The “so called” poem Cynthia lacks in the categories of theme, meaning, and rhythm. The poem displays a weak sense of meaning as seen in the movie 22 Jump Street when the actor Jonah Hill created the poem on the spot without thought. In addition to the lacking categories, the poem is ridiculing the girl in the movie named Cynthia who happened to die from drugs. The poem in no way is seen as satirical, but morbid. Although Cynthia has repetition with the word death in the poem, the poet throws words around as a way to fill in the space where meaning lacks in the poem. The words “Julia, rob, hurts” are derived from the words Julia Roberts which is mentioned in the poem. The illusion of the poem itself is hard to envision because of the absence
