Police brutality has drastically increased in the black community for last past years. In protest of these incidents, Colin Kaepernick, quarterback of San Francisco’s 49ers, refused to stand during the playing of the National Anthem. His type of protesting for the wrongdoings of African-Americans have definitely sparked huge controversy because he felt that blacks are not being treated fairly.
