Police Suck Police chief Yohanan Danino said “whoever harms police or civilians will be brought to justice.” A lot of people believe that is true, but what about the police that hurt civilians and nothing is done to stop that or it is just passed by and nobody cares? The police need to stay in their boundaries, because that’s what they make us do. Even though the police are here to protect and do all they can to make sure it happens, Police abuse their power because they go past their point of protecting and use it against use and they feel they can do whatever they want just because they have the power to do so. “A violent police should be jailed,” (Welch) after in Baltimore there was a group of Jewish Ethiopian Minorities lived there. They would just be harassed by the racist police and would be lacking the same opportunities compared to the other people that lived in Baltimore. All the big cities that have reported many misconduct reports have been with the police that do whatever they want, whether it is for the fun of it or just because the thing or the way the person looks/lives life isn't the way they like, these police just do whatever kind of stuff they want to these people. “Most big-city police departments deal with some level of police misconduct.” (Make Cops Answer) The way big cities allow their cops the leizer and give them a bunch of chances to kept letting the misconduct and brutality go up. When the city police departments have leaders of their groups and they fail to lead that's when these communities turn bad. The leaders of Police Departments should not tolerate misconduct and should set a good example for the rest of their team so that people do not get abused by police for no reason. Allowing bad cops to offend the community over and over again is not okay. “Too many police officers are psychologically wrong for the job. It is not us against them, and they are not part of some club with special privileges. If we can weed out the bad apples, then the good ones will be able to shine and set an example for the rest.”
