Political Correctness: Why Do People Standardize People?

The Definition of political correctness, according to the dictionary, is the avoidance, often taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who ae socially disadvantaged or discriminated against. Now political correctness isn’t inherently bad, in fact it’s the effort not to say or do something bad that might offend a person or people. The problem isn’t that people aren’t sensitive enough to others, it’s that they’re too sensitive leading them to completely avoid the topic altogether. No one wants to accidently say something that either labels them as something or labels someone else something, people will walk on eggshells in fear of offending someone. Everyone’s skin color will be changed to gray through genetic engineering for future generations as to not lead to any form of discrimination between races. We will all have the same clothes, the same diet, the same hairstyle, the same eye color, everyone will be virtually identical to a T. Through several different types of “group therapy methods” like waterboarding or other forms of so called “torture” that some people might see it that way or brainwashing, but just think of it for the betterment of human society as a whole. Others would argue that this conformity would eliminate the human identity when in reality it would restructure it, it would unify everyone’s individuality, turning the individuals belief into the common belief of all people, everywhere. There will no longer be him or her, a he or she, just us or we. People can finally relax that they’ll no longer be able to offend someone else either purposefully or accidentally. Someone might ask, “Well what if I don’t want to conform?” that simply goes against the basic human need to belong, you would become the outcast, the disenfranchised, ask yourself, why would you want
