Throughout the Jefferson era there were multiple conflicts and revolutionary ideas. First and for most probably the most revolutionary thing that occurred during the revolutionary era was that the Democratic-Republicans came into action in the government with Thomas Jefferson. The Democratic-Republicans were absolutely against the federalist, who was in control of the previous years, having people against the federalist definitely brought commotion into the country. Presumably many other events such as the Louisiana Purchase, the case of Marbury v. Madison and the Lewis and Clark expedition.
