Each federal Political Party has a place on the political spectrum. I have chosen three parties, the Green Party, the Liberals and the Conservatives to place on the political spectrum. First of all, I believe that the Green Party is a left side party. This means that this party sees the inequalities of income between people as too great and they believe that the government needs to do something to reduce these inequalities. One example of a green party policy that demonstrates that the party is on the left side of the spectrum is to cut down tuition fees. This policy will benefit students and help lower the expenses of parents. The Green party wants to put down these fees to benefit the common good and make sure that students have an equal chance at being successful. They are trying to fill the gap between the poorer and richer so more students can have an equal and fair education. This party makes sure that policies promote benefits but have restrictions placed upon them. The Liberal Party is a centre party which is illustrated through the promise of welcoming 25,000 refugees from Syria and offering them help in the country. This is a policy to aid victims of war from Syria into our peaceful country, Canada. Canadians will be inconvenienced through the policy as refugees integrate into Canada. Although at the same time, over several decades these refugees will become a part of Canada like Canadians currently. They will add to the Canadian economy and society. The Liberal Party is concerned about helping others selflessly, but they are also considered about the fact that overtime these refugees will become workers, citizens, and a part of
