Define the terms:
Health- state of completre physical, mental, and social well-being, not merely the absence of discease and infirmity

Wellness- active process of adopting patterns of behaviour that can lead to improved health and heightened life satisfaction.

Social determinants of health- societal conditions that affect and can potentially be altered by social and health policies and programs

health literacy- The ability to read understand, and act on health information

mutation- Changing of the structure of a gene, resulting in a variant form that may be transmitted to subsequent generations, caused by the alteration of single base units in DNA, or the deletion, insertion, or rearrangement of larger sections of genes or chromosomes

allele- One of two or more alternative forms of a gene that arise by mutation and are found at the same place on a chromosome.

stem cells- an undifferentiated cell that is capable of giving rise to different types of specialized cells

sleep deprivation- Lack of sufficient time asleep, a condition that impairs physical, emotional and cognitive functioning

health promotion- Process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve, their health.

disease prevention- Public-health-related actions designed to ward off or rprotects against specific diseases
