Education is far more involved within today’s society, than it was throughout the 70’s or 80’s and years before. In the world today, it’s hard to obtain a job without some type of education, especially without receiving a post-secondary education. There are so many opportunities available, in order to receive some type of advanced education. It’s a necessity in today’s society to have a post-secondary education if your trying to have a prosperous future ahead of you. Throughout senior year, counselors and teachers give plenty of advice to students on what to expect and the long term benefits of receiving some sort of further education. With a higher education, more advantages come along during the job searching process. Having a post-secondary education is very beneficial when applying for an upscale job or any type of job in fact. For example, a person with no type of post-secondary education is applying for an upscale job, as well as a person with a post-secondary job is applying as well. Most businesses want a significant individual with a higher education working within their business. They look for individuals with a background full of academic achievements as well as people who are able to connect and relate to people with real world experiences. Many students don’t realize that with a higher education there are a lot of health benefits associated as well. It’s been reported that individuals with less education, seem to be depressed and are not engaged with their social lives and other aspects as well, as individuals with higher education have proven to be. Researchers have proven that, not only are their health benefits but as well as physical benefits associated with having a higher education. Many individuals who do not seek for a post-secondary education, start to adapt depressive behaviors which leads to developing unhealthy habits.
