Throughout life, many people are driven to go after each other to gain success. In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” written by Richard Connell, the story generates crisis and conflict to exemplify the shifting beliefs of the hunters and the hunted.
Zarif has very strong views on how the world works. People of power shall be the leaders over the week. “Life is for the strong, to be lived by the strong, and, if needs be, taken by the strong.” (Page 8) Zarif initially believed that he was the one in “power,” he thought he controlled the hunt.
