Interview Statement
On the day of today, December 17th of 2007, been 10:30 o’clock in the morning, came to this office, a citizen named ESPINA CASTELLANO LARRY RODOLFO, Venezuelan, of legal age, agricultural administrator, original from Maracaibo, married, entitled to the Identification Number 3.776.878 who residence at “La Finca Agropecuaria Los Rosales”, which belongs to Engineer Rafael Simon Vivas Moran, located at Aldea Caliche, Municipality of Ayacucho, Michelena, Tachira State; with the purpose of filing a claim before the office of the public persecutor about the things occurred since 10/12/2007 at the “Los Angeles Farm” that he describes as follows: “ Been around 8:00 o’clock at night, the date of 10/12 2007 I was at the front porch of the principal residence, talking to my wife, my children and a few of the laborers and suddenly a group of more than 15 people commanded by a man by the name of Carlos Gamboa, who stated that was the commander of a Bolivarian Agriculture Producers Committee, that in the name of the Governor of the State Mr Roland Blanco la Cruz and the President of the Nation President Chavez himself, they will take possession of the land ad they will distributed since Mr. Rafael had run away from the country. All of this under threatening comments and insults. The following day around 4:30 p.m. in three trucks and two light trucks, arm with weapons, insulting, pushing the personnel, they left to the north area of the Farm, where the personnel dormitories and the barns are, all of these lasted until the 14th, when we talked to the National Guard and they told us that they didn’t had personnel available at the time, that they will stop by later on.
