What Is Physical Fitness?????

Physical fitness is a set of characteristics that people have or have achieved and relates to the ability to perform physical activity. There are two types of fitness general fitness and specific fitness. General fitness is when you work towards goals for health and well-being, rather than the goals for sport competitions or larger muscles. A regular workout and a healthy diet can improve general appearance and good health such as muscle tone, healthy skin, hair and nails. Diets help to increase burning off calories and boosting metabolism. General fitness can also promote weight loss. Personal trainers have program centers that reconstruct lifestyle while also helping to provide the necessary motivation for its success. It is also used to promote toning and building in muscles. General fitness really helps. Specific fitness focuses on the goals of sports. The term specific is referred to athletes who play a particular sport. Those athletes are to then identify the physical requirements of that sport and target specific exercises that will increase their fitness in those areas. There are many specific workouts that are needed for training in each sport. For example a bicyclist, will focus on exercises that increase lower body strength and cardiovascular endurance, and a baseball player might focus on upper body strength. After finding the specific fitness needs of a chosen activity, the athlete then makes a workout that will help those benefits over other areas of fitness. Physical fitness is very important to many. It is a part of life and should always be taken seriously.

Why is it important to warm-up before playing a sport or exercise?? A warm-up is a gradual activity that increases your pulse and joint mobility. Warming up also brings the body to a condition at which it safely acts to nerve signals. For example, before running or playing an sport, an athlete might slowly jog to warm their muscles and increase their heart rate. It is important that warm ups be specific to the activity so the muscles that are being used are already warmed up. It is known to believe that warming up prepares the athlete both mentally and physically. It increases movement of blood through tissues and makes the muscles more pliable. Warming up can also increase oxygen levels and give more nutrients to muscles. It prevents people from loosing breath and loosing energy to easily or quickly. Another fact is that warming up prepares your heart for increase in activity and it prevents your heart from increase in blood pressure. Warming up also decreases the possibility of injury. Without stretching it is possible for a athlete to pull a muscle or to have many cramps in the lower body. This can lead to an athlete having surgery or not being able to play. Warming up is a very considerable activity that should be done everyday before playing a sport. You should take at least 20 minutes to stretch everyday. If you do that, you will reduce all possibility of injury.

How does smoking affect the body?????? When smoking, it happens to shorten your lifespan by 15% each time you put a cigarette in your mouth. Smoking harms nearly every organ in the body, including the heart, blood vessels, lungs, eyes, mouth, reproductive organs, bones, bladder, and digestive organs. Smoking also robs you of your good cholesterol, raises your blood pressure, increases the possibility of blood clots, and it is much more harder to exercise. With just one cigarette alone it is an one way ticket to heart disease. Cigarettes also cause cancer and smoking is the number one cause of deaths due to lung cancer, emphysema, and other serious diseases. For every person who dies of smoking-related illness, 20
