I currently hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Marketing from Melbourne University with breadth studies in Corporate and Taxation Law. I am a current candidate in the Chartered Accountants program.

I have extensive experience in preparing financial & management accounts using MYOB, Excel and Quickbooks. I implemented and manage the entire accounting function for various organisations including the not-for-profit artspace fortyfivedownstairs, with a combined turnover of over $850k p.a
I am highly competent and knowledgeable in AP and AR processes and controls such as segregation of duties, accuracy and completeness, double entry avoidance, policy adherence, invoice coding and other various checks and balances. I was responsible for our annual audit and implementing any recommendations.
3. A high standard of computer literacy with extensive knowledge of accounting and payroll systems and software. Proficiency in using those systems and contemporary office software.
Utilising automated systems to ensure accuracy and control, I am highly effective in the delivery of payroll services from start to finish including Superannuation Guarantee obligations, Workcover, Leave and other FairWork award entitlements.
During my time as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers I was exposed to many automated financial/accounting systems including MYOB, Quickbooks, Chris21, SAP and Oracle Hyperion. I am highly proficient in MS excel (ie PivotTable, VLookup, IF and other complicated formulae) and also have experience in using database software such as MS Access and the online based Customer Data systems (CRM) – SeatAdvisor BoxOffice (SABO), TryBooking.com and brief exposure to Tessitura.

I am able to provide a commentary on financial results based on various analysis tools such as benchmarking, trends and forecast variance examination. My ability to prepare sound financial reports, statements, and projections forms the basis for this analysis. I understand that timeliness, reliability and relevance are key factors to providing outstanding reports (e.g. scorecard, KPIs or other targets) to Team Leaders for crucial business decision making.
