Practice Evaluation Conversation and Plan In my placement at Clackamas County Juvenile Department (CCJD), I work within the programs department in Community Connections, the Victim Impact Program, and the Victim-Offender-Dialogue program in partnership with Resolution Services. Due to the size of CCJD and the multitude of services they provide, my conversation regarding program evaluation specifically focuses on the programs department. For the purpose of this paper I will provide a summary of CCJD’s program evaluation, review my field instructor’s practice evaluation, and reflect on what I learned from these conversations to inform my own practice evaluation.

Since she is the only person is her program, she is the only person who interacts with clients within the programs capacity. “For example, the question “Do you feel that you were provided adequate information about your rights as a crime victim?” and “To the extend you wanted, did you receive timely notices of upcoming court hearings?”. These responsibilities of providing information regarding the rights of a crime victim as well as court hearings is the sole responsibility of the Victim Services Coordinator, my field instructor. Due to being the sole person who runs the Victim Impact Program and time constraints, my field instructor recognizes that she could be more intentional about receiving intentional practice evaluations that correspond with the program’s goals.
