Getting on the right path as soon as possible in college is very beneficial in order to be successful in any career. The Prairie Meadows scholarship would help me to be able to begin my road to becoming a pediatrician.
Ever since I was little I have had an interest in taking care of babies and kids. Over the past couple years, I have found another love, medicine. Because I am interested in both medicine and children, I want to be a pediatrician. To help me pursue my dreams in this career this scholarship would be beneficial to me. In order for me to be able to accomplish this goal, I will need many years of schooling. The costs of these classes can very easily become overwhelming and this scholarship would help to accommodate for these costs.

So far I have already been able to help out at local food banks, donate to people in need, volunteer at nursing homes, package meals, and volunteer child care inside of schools and more. In the future, I will only have to work one job which will allow time for me to continue with these volunteer hours. One of my most honorable personal strengths that would be beneficial in making a difference in our community is my ability to think independently. I strongly believe that the only way that anyone is able to grow as a person is to push themselves by thinking of new different solutions. I have never been satisfied with the answers being handed to me, I always want to know how and why that is the solution. I strive to look at every situation from other perspectives.
