The Shadows of Life How would you feel if someone took away your chance to live? Imagine not having any say in whether or not you want to have a life. For instance, babies don't have a choice of beginning in their mother’s womb. If a mother decides to abort her baby, the sacrifice of the baby of a life being taken away from it is hopeless. Their whole future is gone. Getting an abortion can be dangerous in a woman’s health which can cause physical complications including bleeding and pain and sometimes even death. If I found myself pregnant and not married, I wouldn’t consider an abortion because I don’t want to kill an innocent child and it also can harm my health. When two people experience intercourse, there is a chance to get pregnant; consequently, people should be responsible for their behavior and choose not to get an abortion just because they want to avoid having a baby. I remember when my aunt told me that my mother wanted to abort me when she became pregnant because she divorced my father and she couldn’t afford to have a baby and furthermore, didn’t want a responsibility of a child. After I found out what happened before, I got angry at my mother and promised myself that I would not ever think of getting an abortion if I will get pregnant someday whether I have a husband or not. I questioned my mother if she did abort me, I wouldn’t be here and I would not experience what life is. As a result, I will not do this to my future baby, even if I am in a bad situation.
